I'll just say it. Maybe, we are to god, as your neurons are to you.

If we are an integral part of "God's body" why do we have to "worship" him? I mean, we are already him. Does that mean that when we "worship" "Him" it is a sort of self-aggrandizing narcissism?

One could argue that the difference between 'worship' and 'caring for' can be nil.

Am I worshiping my body by feeding, exercising and cleaning it?

Am I worshiping a god I am part of by caring for it?

Linguistic trickery.

I may use the word worship to describe that reverence given to my body, or even the word homage, but is it truly worship? Do I consider my body divine? If I consider my body part of god, is the rest of the body composed therefore of the other elements of the universe? Or is it only the human body? If not, am I killing a part of god whenever a swat a mosquito?

Care to flesh it out a bit.

Are you saying God is like a huge collective consciousness or that God is vastly superior in intellect?
