So I have a three year old boy, a golden retriever and a six room house and I am probably taking a Lab. The owner can't stand the hair. A well behaved, good with dogs, good with kids 3 year old fixed Lab. Shots and housebroke. Can't seem to pass her up. Going to meet her on Wednesday I think. I must be crazy. :dontknow:

Crazy? <pets both dogs> You look sane to me! :p

We only had 1100 sq feet with two dogs, 50 and 60 pounds and a toddler. And no yard.

I just hate to pass her up and Sadie (our dog now) would love a playmate. We have a small yard and are at camp most summer weekends so swimming in the river is great for them. I think all pets should have a friend. If my husband wasn't allergic to cats we would have one of those, lol. Sadie is 70 pounds (golden retriever) and Mattie is a Lab so I would imagine she will be at least 50. I would hate to see her go to the pound over shedding.

Yep, we picked her up on Saturday. She is awesome. Same height as Sadie but smaller frame and little more timid. They have been playing and so far getting along fine. We think they may have to eventually set up rank like pets do but should be a great fit. She tried to get in our son's toddler bed last night to sleep but it's too small. She'll be happy when we get him his regular one.
