 Okay ... I've imported about 500 old posts. Unfortunately, these are still from early last year, so nothing recent was recovered (yet?). Some of the links came through, but the url tags were not always preserved. Given that any later backups should be in the intermediate version of phpbb, they should import posts more intact.
As of right now, the chances of locating of any intermediate database backups seem slim.
I apologize to everyone who has had posts lost, and please believe that I recognize the time and effort that went into the posts and threads.
I am instituting a regular, offline archiving that should provide us with a much more comprehensive and secure setting for future work on the board.

), but I have fixed the glitch on posting. Feel free to start up topics again. Since it's just the post data that's gone ATM, I should be able to insert the missing posts back into the dB and fill in the gaps if we can get a backup.
