So, what's everyone (anyone?) up to this holiday?

We're going out asnd doing the ToT thing with the boy, and a couple of local palces are doing stuff. We'll be home and answering the door.

We give out little shitty toys instead of candy. Figure it's easier on the parents, on my waistline, and keep the spirit of hallowe'en in the children's hearts longer.

We make a huge batch of dip on Halloween and don't pretend to eat dinner. We also watch movies.

Some point, we'll have corned beef and cabbage, and I'll make a double batch of funnel cakes.

We've just baked spider cookies (I'll see if I can get a pic up).

We'll be making resolutions and carving pumpkins--- probably tomorrow...

What does everyone else plan on doing?

We're having a potluck and a costume contest at work. For the potluck, I'm bringing brownies covered with dark chocolate M&M's.

I always make my own costumes, and this year I'm going as "goddess of the night sky" in a black velvet sleeveless dress and a drape made of black tulle covered with silver moons and stars.

We never seem to get many trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood, but we're going to put out jack-o-lanterns and have candy ready anyway, just in case. I'll probably carve my pumpkin to match my costume, with a moon-and-stars design. I might get a few small ones to line the walkway leading up to our apartment and make it more plain that yes, we are giving out goodies here.

This is one time of year when I really wish I had my own property, so I could go hog-wild with the decorations. There's just not much that can be done with an apartment!

I aint got a damned thing planned...sigh.
I guess I'll just go to a bar, get drunk & try to get laid.

I said you were special...not unique.
