There's a short thread on last year's Hallowe'en, but I guess I should start a new one.

Costumes. Do you like to dress up, what are some of your favorites from past years, any plans this year? Pics would be cool.

I haven't dressed up for a long time now (decades :(). My favorite was as an RPG warrior. I carefully painted my shield with character symbols from the Magic Realm board game, plus added a few others such as a peace sign and an ecology symbol. :D

And btw while wearing a short sword and cape and carrying a shield, it isn't very easy to climb over walls on your way to the party. And even harder on the way back! :cheeky:

For the first time ever, I attended a party hosted by one of my children. I got to meet Jeff and Michelle's extended circle of friends. Plus get blasted.

Here's a pic of the hosts, Jeff and Michelle:

JaM got matching tattoos a few weeks ago, here's Michelle's:

My costume was a black tee, fatigue pants and shirt, ranger vest, boonie hat and jackboots. Here I'm at work before the party:

Wow. You must be a good dad...

or have really lame kids... ;)

That's an amazing compliment, to be invited to a grown kid's party.

We haven't had costumes in years. We have masks and shirts and stuff, but we haven't done anything major in years.

I think the last time we dressed up was the year I got pregnant...

I went as Sin (carried a bag of liquor and chocolates, wore a red and black leather corset and black silk skirt) and Hex went as Judgement (he wore the Judge costume from Buffy season 2)
