It's weird that this the most fun (In My Opinion) holiday seesm to be the one with absolutely no chatting here.

Why is that?

Are we all too busy doing stuff?

We're overwhelmed overall (liek I'm about to go make popcorn for the boy's in school party) but come ON guys! Garrett's costume thread was ignored!

Our 'main event' for Halloween (other than carving jacks, which we did with company on Wednesday, pics later) is to put out whiskey and milk and bread for the dead tonight.

I'll be answering the door, although we are getting fewer and fewer treaters.

We also have funnel cakes, The Dip (a friend's recipie, and Halloween tradition) and we should have corned beef and cabbage, but we are too busy to make a long term dinner...

:(

We didn't have many treaters :(

Normally I have to refil our treat bowl 2-3 times. I didn't finish it once. :(

I heard it may be because of the football game. As bad as that it, it'd be better than people just being too scared.

Few people also were giving treats.

:(

Yah, everybody is probably off doing other stuff, it is a busy night after all! I don't get many Trick or treaters, my apt bldg has a locked gate so unless someone props it open you can't get in without a key.

Just busy dats all.

but i do admit I was not the usual this year, lots of family drama going on. i had all my stuff out, but just never got excited until the actual day. My yaya bagged on me to go to Samhain service. Trick or treating was a blast, we did 6 blocks and no pix cus the fancy camera i have not figured out yet, we found 2 holy grails. and I am out of the closet as a girly girl..... I am in love with false eyelashes. so fluttery. my gf and I think we should all go as the Adams family next year. too cool, and that will take some planning.

TW jess, very nice pix. I like the one of the jack-o-lanterns but the 'putie in the back kinda spoils the image :D
