Did you know chalk boards are out of style? lol. Really I have not been able to find one less than $100, when you even can. I went to the hardware store and made the boy a chalkboard for Christmas. It was really easy.

I just have to trim it out and put the chalk holder on it by tonight or tomarrow. :D

wow---

we have two from when we were kids, so we never really looked... but wow.

They last forever, are ecologically sound. :dontknow:

Our boy's school uses dry erase markers. Seems a shame to me...

Reminds me of that Daily Mail article which they made up about black boards being banned from primary schools for being racially offensive. The Daily Fail: are you a middle class housewife who is overtly racist and lives in suburbia? Did you know we supported Hitler in the war? Buy our paper and help us kick out all the coons and wogs.

Racist chalk boards? :bang head:

His school has small chalk boards on the wall which have helped him learn to hold the chalk right. We thought it would be good to have one at home. I kinda like I made it instead.

I don't have any toys from when I was young. Some were destroyed and some I have given away to younger cousins. There is still a Millennium Falcon buried in the back yard somewhere in the house we grew up in, lol.

A friend of mine as a kid had every Star Wars figure including the limited editions and all the models, they are worth at least £50,000 now the lucky bar steward!

They were mostly all in their boxes as well!
