I shouldn't be able to see this page if I am IP banned.

Hmm ... The IP ban thing didn't seem to take with you as when you registered, the software didn't record registration IPs. But, my understanding of the on-board ban was to disallow re-registration of folks from the same IP. Sorry about that.

If you want to try again, I'll dig out your IPs and re-ban, manually throwing your IPs into the board banlist.

Going through all the old IPs is probably overkill. maybe just ban my current at-home IP? (the one I'm using now)

Are you requesting a self ban?

I was replying to Hex. I'm interested in solving this mystery. If you guys don't have the time or the inclination, I'll drop it and be content with comparing notes with people who have been IP banned here in the past.

I think Hex may have missed adding a smilie. Don't you think you've asked us to do enough here?

You've already told us you didn't even need to be 'unbanned'.

We've jumped through enough hoops here already. You'll make up your mind about it on your own anyway.

When people ask me questions, my default is to answer the questions as though they are sincere. It takes a long history of insincere questions to move me away from my default.

Unless Hex indicates he wants to test this further, I'll consider my own questions answered.

now, we need fresh blood... I mean, new posters...[/quote]

And banning them on sight is the best way to keep them.
